  First time at a Caribbean Chinese restaurant. I ordered the chicken curry, roti, rice and hot and sour soup. The curry was great! Reminded me of my dad's, good flavor and spice! The hot and sour soup was off the mark. It tasted more like sweet and sour soup. It was loaded with all the traditional ingredients and lots of them. The service was decent and friendly. The restaurant was nice and clean. If you're looking for a quiet Sunday dinner this may not be the best spot. They had very loud live music. It was hard to have a conversation or communicate to the waitress. I think this is only Sunday night though.
  
  I plan on trying Caribbean heat again. I will hopefully catch their lunch buffet for $10 so I can sample more of what they have to offer.

  You know when you check into a restaurant and you have to answer all the yelp questions? This is the first restaurant I selected very loud!!! I think it was a Sunday night and they had a live singer. It was just as loud as a concert and we were sitting at our table having dinner.  I think they should start the entertainment later in the evening.
  The food was ok. Nothing to write home about.  I ordered Alex's chicken and my brother had the curry chicken. The portion was very generous however it lacked excitement.
  The service was great. My water was always full and the server was always checking in.  My food experience was just average so three stars I think sums it up.

  I've been here two times for their lunch buffet based on Yelp reviews and I enjoyed my visit both times.  Not only is the lunch buffet a smoking deal at $9.95 + tax, their food is pretty good by any buffet standards.  
  
  There are about 10 choices of entrees ranging from fried chicken wings, stir fried green beans with chicken, beef in black bean sauce, fried noodles, fried rice...etc and a few different soups.  If you ask for steam rice, your server will bring you a bowl to your table at no extra charge.  My absolute favorite here is the curry goat though.  It is the biggest reason I come here for lunch.  I love that I can get Chinese staples alongside a nice goat curry.  YUM!
  
  I would continue to come here for lunches but one of these days, I am going to try out their 2 lobsters for $25 deal.  :)  Stay tuned!

  I've been here four times now, each time trying something different. I can't say I've been disappointed by anything yet.
  
  The fried chicken, short ribs, Chung's Special Chicken, and hot sauce are all very good!
  
  What makes this update significant is the name of the business being changed from Coconut Breeze East to Caribbean Heat. That didn't take long.
  
  The menu is being edited and pared down a little but everything else remains the same. The lunch buffet is now $9.95 (temporary?) and includes pop.

  Great West-Indian food in Pickering! Lunch buffet for only $9.99 and two lobsters or two crab for only $22.95!!!  What a deal!
